For the first project of the semester, we had to follow 2023's "Inktober's" guidelines. We did this project on Illustrator so it was given the name "Vectober." We all had to select 8 out of the 31 prompts to craft in Illustrator. The designs needed to be cohesive and flow with each other. We had to select 3 key words that defined our designs. I chose lively, simple, and playful. My designs look 2D, and I wanted them to look as if they came out of a story book. Another requirement for this assignment was to add a texture into the designs. I chose a brush stroke texture to make highlights/shadows. The words I chose were: sparkle, wander, frost, path, angel, rise, dream, and castle. (shown in that order)
